
Weird. I felt a bit depressed after the dinner today. Yeah, I wasn't very healthy with my food choices today. Had veggie burger sandwich using processed vegetarian veggie patty for lunch and afternoon snack, and instant noodles for dinner. How healthy can that be?
In my pursuit to educate myself, I searched the net for articles on the effects of processed foods on mood and found this article.
Instant noodles are laden with MSG, and from this article, I found out that MSG causes depression and mood swings. It was probably the reason why I had regular mood swings when I was still in college. There was simply too much MSG in the diet.
