I'm in Davao right now and just finished dinner. Law-uy, a Visayan vegetable soup with kalkag (small dried shrimps - tasty but very mucus forming so hello vaman tomorrow morning), stir fried cabbage with bokchoy and cashews, grilled tuna tail (a Davao delicacy - tried to resist but... the stomach feels really heavy at the moment).
Father and I drove 5 hours from Cagayan de Oro City to Davao, but before that I took a 2 hour ride from Iligan City to CDO. Had an Intro to Ashtanga workshop in Iligan for 2 days and was glad that it was well received. Will probably return there in July for a full week workshop. Got very few photos but will post them soon.
It has been a journey... literally and emotionally. Will blog about this next time. Will spend time with my family tonight.
