12 Weeks to Liberation

The person whose mind is always free from attachment,
Who has subdued the mind and senses,
And who is free from desires, attains
The supreme perfection of freedom
From Karma through renunciation.

Jon, I LOVE THIS POSE!!!! :-)

This poem on attachment, however, is the antithesis of my most recent post on loving my Manduka mat, hehehe...

Detachment....yes, working on it. Not succeeding many times...

The UP Oblation in Saudi, hehehe.

We're only humans... it will probably take more than one lifetime to learn detachment. As long as we're aware and continue to work on it, I think we're be fine. ;-)

@Jane
Di pwedeng nakahubo't hubad dito eh.. baka mabalitaan nyo na lang sa Pinas... "OFW sentenced to death for indecent exposure". hahaha

@Crissy
Alam ko wala... but Swami Satchindanda said something about desires... that we cannot actually stop having desires... but what we can do is to have good desires... something that benefit mankind, etc. Will post that once I find the verse.
