From Grilled Veggie Pasta to Spinach Fritata... Stillness in Middle Earth

A view from the Boatshed Cafe

The chana dhal that I had in HK.

Grilled Veggie Pasta with Parmesan... first home-cooked dinner.
(Thai green curry wasn't as successful last night so no photo)

The fritata that I had for brunch at the Boadshed Cafe.

Practice was awesome this morning.  I placed my mat at the back row beside Connie's then I went out to empty the "bag".  When I got back my mat was already beside John's.  I didn't bother to ask who placed it there so I just stood at the top of my mat... in samasthitih... searched for stillness... and then started my practice.  Paul and John have different approaches to the ashtanga method.  I still lean towards what I learned from Paul but now that I'm here at Stillpoint, I will try to remember what John taught me when he was in Manila last year and practice his "style".  During this morning's practice, in parts where I wasn't sure of what he taught me, I simply did what I was originally taught.  It was still great!

Practicing beside John this morning was AWESOME!!!

Kia ora!
