The Jester and the Friendly Eels

Photo from the Jester House website.

Had brunch here this morning.  Open sandwich with fresh tomatoes, greens, special dressing, feta and hummus.  Simple but delicious.  Flat white for coffee.

2nd day with John & Lucy and I already feel like I've been here for a week.  Every day it's different.  I had to unlearn some of the things that I learned from the past... empty the cup... trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can.

Yesterday, it was led up to parsvottanasana, then John broke us up into groups.  I had to work with 2 other guys while the 3 YM ladies worked together.  Our group practiced up to supta kurmasana and then straight to 2nd.  This morning, after standing, we went straight to navasana, finished the rest of the 1st series and straight 2nd.  It's a different learning experience with Lucy very particular about body position and alignment.  I like her.  It's like being with Saraswati in Mysore.

Time to prepare dinner.  It's pasta arabiatta tonight.

Kia Ora!

Arturo,

Yup. John and Lucy are amazing. You should come and study with them when you have the chance.

New Zealand is also awesome. Quiet and very conducive to yoga practice.

Cheers.
